Not at all. The Reiki Mastery Path was intentionally designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether this is your very first experience with energy healing or you’ve already received Reiki certifications and are looking for something deeper.

We begin with the foundations of energy healing before moving into Reiki itself, so you’ll develop an understanding of energy, the energetic body, intuition, consciousness, and the principles behind the work—not simply memorize techniques. For those who have already trained in Reiki, the program offers an opportunity to revisit the foundations through a more comprehensive lens while expanding into trauma-informed healing, intuitive development, psychology, nervous-system awareness, advanced Reiki practices, and professional practitioner training.

You don’t need to arrive knowing how to work with energy. That’s what you’re here to learn.

I created the Reiki Mastery Path because I was once the student who completed a single-day Reiki class and walked away certified—but spent years trying to understand what I had actually learned and how to confidently apply it. This program is the culmination of more than a decade of practicing Reiki, continuing my own education, working with clients, and developing the depth of training I wish I had received from the beginning.

Rather than teaching Reiki as a collection of symbols, hand positions, and instructions to simply “be the conduit,” I teach you how to develop a relationship with the energy and collaborate with Spirit. You’ll learn to quiet the ego, strengthen your intuitive gifts, trust what you perceive, and approach the person in front of you as an energetic and spiritual being—without allowing your own expectations, attachments, or personal relationship with them to lead the session.

We also go beyond traditional Reiki education by weaving in psychology, nervous-system awareness, trauma-informed practice, states of consciousness, intuitive development, and the mind-body-spirit connection. You’ll explore what may be happening within a person emotionally and physiologically during a healing experience while learning how to hold space with compassion, discernment, appropriate boundaries, and reverence for the spiritual nature of the work.

And this is not a single-day certification. Reiki was traditionally passed through much deeper teacher-student relationships, and I’ve carried that spirit of apprenticeship into a format you can experience from home. You’re given the time, practice, mentorship, community, and lifetime access to develop your abilities at your own pace while working toward a professional-level Reiki certification.

I don’t want you to leave this program simply knowing how to perform Reiki. I want you to understand the healer you are becoming, trust the gifts you possess, and know how to work with them with integrity.

The Reiki Mastery Path is a 6-Level Professional Reiki Certification, guiding you from your foundational Reiki training through Master-level practice across both Holy Fire® III Reiki and Karuna Ki Reiki.

Upon successfully completing the requirements for each level, you’ll earn:

Level I — Holy Fire® III Reiki Level I
Level II — Holy Fire® III Reiki Level II + Animal Reiki Certification
Level III — Holy Fire® III Reiki Master Level
Level IV — Karuna Ki Reiki Level I
Level V — Karuna Ki Reiki Level II
Level VI — Karuna Ki Reiki Master Level

Holy Fire® III Reiki builds upon the foundational teachings of the Usui Reiki system, which are incorporated throughout your training.

Each level includes its own teachings, healing experiences, practice, and integration requirements. To receive your full certifications, you’ll be expected to complete the required coursework and practitioner experience—not simply watch the lessons. Students who complete the educational material without fulfilling the certification requirements may instead receive a Certificate of Completion.

By the end of the full path, you’ll have progressed from Reiki Level I through Master-level training in two Reiki systems, with the experience and education designed to support you in practicing this work with greater confidence, discernment, and integrity.

Yes. The Reiki Mastery Path is a fully virtual, self-paced certification program—and Reiki can absolutely be taught, learned, and practiced virtually. Reiki energy is not limited by time or space, something you’ll experience more deeply as you explore distance healing in Level II.

Think about the Wi-Fi signal allowing you to read this very page. You can’t see it, smell it, taste it, or touch it—yet you know it’s there because you can see evidence of it working. Reiki is similar in concept. While we may not physically see the energy moving between us, we can become aware of its influence through what we sense, feel, and experience during and after a healing session.

Although I primarily taught Reiki through year-long, one-on-one apprenticeships, even within those intimate training experiences, I wasn’t able to cover everything this self-paced format has given me the freedom to share with you. Without the limitations of scheduled sessions, I can offer deeper teachings, demonstrations, guided healing experiences, and continued opportunities for practice and integration—with lifetime access to return to it all as you evolve.

Rather than learning Reiki against the clock, you’re given the space to truly experience it, practice it, and embody it.

You do not need to complete the entire Reiki Mastery Path before receiving your certifications. Each level is its own milestone, and you can earn your certifications individually as you progress. We even have a dedicated space within the community to celebrate those wins together!

Certification is based on completion and integration, not how quickly you move through the program.

There are three areas of accountability:

Coursework
All required videos within each level must be watched to at least 95% completion, and corresponding quizzes must be passed with a score of 80% or higher.

Practice
You’ll receive a Practice Log requiring two practice sessions for each level, with the exception of Holy Fire® III Reiki Level II, which requires four—two hands-on and two distance Reiki sessions. These requirements ensure you’re actively practicing, applying, integrating, and embodying what you learn as you move through the program.

Payment Progress
Payment requirements apply only to students enrolled in the monthly payment plan directly through Astralis Healing. At least 60% of the program must be paid before your Holy Fire® III Reiki Level II Practitioner certification can be issued, and the program must be paid in full before any Master-level or Karuna Ki certifications are issued. These requirements do not apply if you paid in full or used third-party financing such as Klarna or Afterpay.

Receiving Your Certifications
Submit your Practice Log one level at a time or group a few levels together upon completion—this journey is intended for you to move at the pace that suits you best. I personally review submissions within approximately 3–14 days, and approved certifications are sent directly to you via email.

Although the Reiki Mastery Path is self-paced, you’re not expected to navigate it alone. You’ll have access to a private student community where you can ask questions, connect with fellow practitioners, find partners for distance healing practice, participate in polls for upcoming Zoom topics, and share your experiences throughout the program.

Live group Zoom calls are available to all Reiki Mastery Path students and may include Q&A and discussion, continued teaching, live healing demonstrations where I walk you through what I’m doing in real time, or guided healing experiences designed to deepen your connection with yourself and Reiki energy. These calls are interactive, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, explore techniques more deeply, and experience the work beyond the recorded lessons. Attendance is never required.

For those who want more individualized support, one-on-one mentoring is also available separately.

The Reiki Mastery Path is completely self-paced, and you’ll receive lifetime access to the program. There is no deadline to complete your training and no expectation that everyone will move through the levels at the same pace.

You’re encouraged to give yourself the time to actually experience, practice, and integrate each level before moving into the next. Life happens, seasons change, and you’re welcome to step away when needed and return when you’re ready.

This path isn’t about rushing toward Master Level—it’s about becoming the practitioner you’re learning to be along the way.

Yes. Holy Fire® III Reiki Level II is your Practitioner Level. Once you’ve successfully completed the Level II coursework, practice, certification, and applicable payment requirements, you’ve reached the point within the Reiki Mastery Path where you can begin offering Reiki sessions professionally, subject to any applicable local laws or requirements.

You do not need to complete all six levels or become a Reiki Master before beginning to work with clients. The levels that follow continue to deepen your abilities, expand your understanding of energy and healing, and eventually prepare you for Master-level and teaching work.

Throughout your practitioner training, you’ll also learn how to structure a complete session, hold space without feeling responsible for “fixing” someone, establish healthy practitioner boundaries, understand scope of practice, navigate informed consent and disclaimers, and communicate your work without making medical or psychological claims. We’ll also explore foundational considerations such as professional insurance, basic business structure, continuing education, and maintaining the integrity of your Reiki lineage.

Not everyone who enters this program wants to build a professional practice—and you don’t have to. But if you do, my intention is that you leave understanding not only how to practice Reiki, but what it means to responsibly step into the role of a professional practitioner.

Yes. If you'd love personal guidance as you move through the program, The Astralis Reiki Apprenticeship is the full Reiki Mastery Path plus 12 months of private mentorship with me: two 1:1 calls a month, personal check-ins between calls, a place to send me your questions, and personalized coaching on your practice, intuitive gifts, and spiritual growth.

Apprenticeship spots are limited to 10 at a time and are by inquiry only. Learn more about the Apprenticeship, or reach out to me directly with any questions.
